On Monday, October 11, The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) submitted three megaprojects for approval to the Planning and Development (P&D) Department. The proposed new projects include repairing and rehabilitating Sagian Road, restoring the Babu Sabu Interchange dual highways, and construction of Shahdara Turbo Roundabout.
The LDA will propose the megaprojects for final approval to the LDA Governing Body, which is led by the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Usman Buzdar. LDA has demanded 3 million for the construction of roads in the vicinity of the Babu Sabu interchange. 3 million for the repair and rehabilitation of Sagian Road and 5.5 billion for the construction and redesigning of Shahdara Turbo Roundabout.
